The story behind PLYR Media goes back to when a 20-year-old Daniel Corr discovered his talent for social media through building an engaged football-focused Instagram platform to over 100,000 followers in the space of just 3 months, alongside completing university studies. This was built through a passion for football, combined with self-teaching the best strategies to build an engaged social platform from scratch.
This social platform quickly became one of the fastest growing football-focused Instagram platforms in the UK, naturally picking up a lot of attention from brands who were looking to build their own social presence through promoting their product on the page.
Instead of us suggesting that these brands should pay for a one-off post on our Instagram platform, we suggested that we’d build their social media presence for them, using the skills acquired building our own platform to 100,000 followers in less than 3 months. As a result, PLYR Media was born.
Fast forward one year, PLYR Media now helps over 15 sports-focused clients grow their following organically by a combined total of over 100,000 followers monthly, whilst also reaching over 100 million users monthly. We have a proven track record of taking multiple platforms from 0 to over 10,000 followers in under 90 days, using strategies that have been tested and developed based on reliable data.
